deviantART

This piece of art was ment to be posted to the Mechanical Maniacs website, but the situation turned difficult when I was trying to post it. I couldn't e-mail the picture so I thought that I'd come out better by opening my own deviantART page. The character's name is Gauntlet! He's the mascot version of the guy who calls himself Shadowman under the Mechanical Maniacs site. I thought to myself that it would be a shame if I was to just give up getting this piece viewed by others because of the thought of maybe missing out on some kind of recognition or a jump start of one or even a quote on my skills.

I spent a lot of time trying to get the image just the way I wanted it to look however I still think there is something missing in it. I scanned and then colored the image with microsoft paint which took longer than drawing it. The image was so huge I had to shrink it some so I wouldn't hog up the bandwith. I hope everyone enjoy's the art.

That's a very well done picture; the only thing that need be fixed is the category. (Is there a Gift Art category?) I like the light effects on the hair and the visor.
Thanks for the compliments SaturnSaionji! I kind of nose dived into deviantart because I got desperate and my patience ran impatient! I should have took more time out to gaining knowledge of how to operate and use deviantart.com but emotionally I just couldn't wait.

As far as the details on the art piece! I got the ideas from other artists (mainly japanese) who are inspirational artists to me and so I use their work as reference material to help me out with my work!
Thanks! It looks really nice.
